Some people neglect their health by choosing not to participate in physical activity because of the fear of having a lack of athletic ability, past experiences on fitness tests, past experiences in sports, heredity, and even influences from the media.

The primary health risk factors are : inactivity, obesity, high blood pressure, high level cholesterol, stress and tension, smoking, gender, age and heredity. What benefits are gained by exercising?

There are many benefits gained by exercising such as : improved appearance, improved body image, improved self control, more enjoyment of life, improved health, improved physical performance, increased success in school, increased energy level, and increased muscular strength and endurance.
